No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  


Sections 3 and 4 of the bill would clarify eligibility standards regarding the compensation supplement for active school district employees. According to the Teacher Retirement System (TRS), funds would distributed accordingly in response to this clarification.

The provision in Section 1 which allows a TRS member to use purchased military credit in order to qualify for TRS-Care insurance benefits may have a fiscal impact to the TRS-Care insurance trust fund in fiscal year 2006 and subsequent fiscal years. 


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
