Amend proposed CSHJR 1 as follows:                                           

(1)  Strike proposed Section 47(f)(4)(A), Article III, Texas 	Constitution (page 2, lines 22-27), and substitute the following:
			(A)  an entity selected by this state through a 
competitive process to conduct video lottery games at a location 
that is licensed to conduct wagering on a horse or greyhound race in 
this state on May 1, 2004;
	(2)  In proposed Section 47(f)(9)(A), Article III, Texas 
Constitution (page 4, line 15), after "terminals", strike "located" 
and insert "operated by an entity selected to operate video lottery 
games".
	(3)  In proposed Section 47(f)(9)(A)(i), Article III, Texas 
Constitution (page 4, line 16), strike "racetrack" and substitute 
"entity".
