R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, March 4, 2004, was indeed a special day for Brady Eugene and Jeana Renee' Brooks, for on that day they became the proud parents of Charles Pierce "Chase" Brooks; and WHEREAS, Born at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler and named for his maternal grandfather, the late Charles Edwin Pierce, Chase weighed eight pounds, six ounces, and measured 21 inches in length; and WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile and a winning personality, he has brought great delight to everyone around him, and he is a tremendous source of pride and joy to his family and many new admirers; and WHEREAS, The birth of a child is always a blessed event, but such an occasion becomes even more joyous when it touches the lives of two highly regarded Texans; thus, the members of this chamber take great pleasure in announcing the birth of the newest member of the Brooks family; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby officially welcome Charles Pierce "Chase" Brooks as a new citizen of Texas and extend sincere congratulations to Brady Eugene and Jeana Renee' Brooks on the birth of their beloved son; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Chase and his parents as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
