H.R. No. 53 


R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lifelong Pharr resident Jerry Jackson has repeatedly given of his time and talents to a host of worthy organizations, blessing the lives of countless citizens of the town he loves to call home; and WHEREAS, A 1986 graduate of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo High School, Mr. Jackson was part of the first Leadership Pharr class, where he learned more about local organizations devoted to helping others; since that time, he has committed himself to making a positive difference in his community; and WHEREAS, Active with the Pharr Food Bank, Mr. Jackson is also a member of both St. Margaret Catholic Church and the Pharr Boys & Girls Club, a group that has immensely benefited from his 15-year affiliation; and WHEREAS, Jerry Jackson is a beacon of goodwill in the city of Pharr; an example to all, he is truly deserving of special recognition; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby commend Jerry Jackson for his service to the city of Pharr and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Jackson as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
