R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Olga Cerda has been promoted to the position of 
department manager at Weslaco's Mid-Valley Town Crier; and
	WHEREAS, A valued employee of the publication for more than 
23 years, Ms. Cerda began her outstanding tenure rolling 
newspapers; today, this notable Texan oversees the composition 
department as production manager; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Cerda has established herself as a staff member 
of distinction and set a standard of professionalism and integrity 
to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby congratulate Olga Cerda on 
her promotion to the position of department manager with the 
Mid-Valley Town Crier and extend to her sincere best wishes for 
continued success and happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Cerda as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
