                                                                  H.R. No. 79 



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Lupe Garcia, Jr., has been promoted to the position 
of department manager at Weslaco's Mid-Valley Town Crier; and
	WHEREAS, A valued employee of the newspaper for more than 23 
years, Mr. Garcia began his outstanding tenure in typesetting, 
where he helped to arrange and prepare text for printing; currently 
graphic design editor for the publication, this notable Texan will 
now serve as manager of the news department; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Garcia has established himself as a staff member 
of distinction and set a standard of professionalism and integrity 
to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby congratulate Lupe Garcia, 
Jr., on his promotion to the position of department manager with the 
Mid-Valley Town Crier and extend to him sincere best wishes for 
continued success and happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Garcia as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
