R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Austin Roofing Contractors Association has come
to the aid of Pflugerville's Angelheart Children's Shelter, and its
philanthropy is helping to safeguard the lives of many young people
in need; and
WHEREAS, In desperate need of a new roof, the children's
shelter, a nonprofit organization that houses 21 residents who have
been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect, sought
estimates for repairs; responding with great charity, the Austin
Roofing Contractors Association agreed to donate the much-needed
roof to the shelter, providing both materials and labor; and
WHEREAS, By contributing to Angelheart, the Austin Roofing
Contractors Association has not only ensured that the shelter's
invaluable work may continue, but displayed a firm commitment to
the betterment of its community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby commend the Austin Roofing
Contractors Association for its donation to the Angelheart
Children's Shelter and extend to the organization sincere best
wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the association as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
