H.R. No. 203



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, On July 25, 2004, Newton and Evelyn Meyer will 
celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, marking a milestone in 
their long and happy union; and
	WHEREAS, United in matrimony on July 25, 1954, the Meyers 
have since enjoyed a marriage filled with love, trust, and mutual 
respect; and
	WHEREAS, Over the past five decades, the couple have watched 
with pride as their family has grown to include four cherished 
children and 10 beloved grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, The enduring marriage of Newton and Evelyn Meyer 
remains a source of joy and inspiration to the friends and family 
with whom they have shared the bountiful richness of their lives; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby congratulate Newton and 
Evelyn Meyer on the momentous occasion of their 50th wedding 
anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued 
happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for them as an expression of high regard by the Texas House 
of Representatives.
