R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, John and Marvel Rushfeldt of Holly Lake Ranch have 
reached a significant milestone in their lives with the joyous 
occasion of their 60th anniversary on March 8, 2004; and
	WHEREAS, In their six decades together, the couple has raised 
three sons, Roger Rushfeldt, Ron Rushfeldt, and Kelly Rushfeldt, 
and one daughter, Donna Parker, and they have seen their family grow 
to include six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, The Rushfeldts are natives of Canada; retired since 
1983, Mr. Rushfeldt worked for Crown Zellerbach, a paper mill 
company, and General Electric; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Rushfeldt may indeed reflect with joy 
on the 60 years they have shared together, and the devotion that has 
sustained their bond for over half a century is an inspiration to 
all who know them; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby congratulate John and 
Marvel Rushfeldt on their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to 
them best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Rushfeldt as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
