H.R. No. 289



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The 350 members of the senior class of McKinney 
North High School will reach a milestone in their lives as they 
graduate on May 28, 2004; and
	WHEREAS, The students in this first graduating class of 
McKinney North High School can leave knowing that they have laid a 
solid foundation on which the school's reputation will grow; many 
of these seniors have shown exceptional ability in a wide range of 
areas, as demonstrated by membership in the National Honor Society, 
positions in All-State Band and All-Region Choir, selection for 
All-District football honors, and participation in soccer, 
baseball, and softball team district championships; and
	WHEREAS, Over the past four years, these young men and women 
have each experienced triumphs and losses; they have gained 
strength of character, and armed with dreams and talents, they now 
stand at the threshold of adulthood ready to face the challenges and 
opportunities of the decades ahead; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the 2004 
seniors of McKinney North High School on their graduation and 
extend to them best wishes for success in their future endeavors; 
and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the school as an expression of the sentiment of the 
Texas House of Representatives.
