SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 43

	WHEREAS, March 2, 2004, will be a day long cherished and 
remembered by Melinda and Brewster McCracken, for on that day 
their son John Montford "Ford" McCracken was born; and

	WHEREAS, The beautiful baby boy arrived at 7:33 p.m.; he 
weighed eight pounds four ounces; and

	WHEREAS, Ford's safe arrival fulfilled his parents' dearest
wish, and they are joyful over the birth of their new son; and

	WHEREAS, This blessed event has brought great happiness to 
Ford's family, and it is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate 
welcome this new little Texan as a treasured citizen of the 
Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 
78th Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby extend 
congratulations to Melinda and Brewster McCracken and best 
wishes for the future to John Montford McCracken; and, be it 
further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
the family as a memento of this special day.
