SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 50

	WHEREAS, April 25, 2004, will be a day long cherished and 
remembered by Adrian and Lena Collins, for on that day their son 
Dean Matthew Collins was born; and

	WHEREAS, The beautiful baby boy arrived at 8:45 p.m.; he 
weighed seven pounds 6.1 ounces and was 19 and one-half inches 
long; and

	WHEREAS, Dean's safe arrival fulfilled his parents' 
dearest wish, and they and Dean's brother, Adrian Collins, Jr., 
are joyful over his birth; joining them in their joy are Adrian's 
mother and stepfather, Patrice and Walter Foster, his father, 
Zack Collins, and Lena's father, Ronald Moore; and 

	WHEREAS, This blessed event has brought great pride and 
happiness to Dean's family, and it is indeed appropriate that the 
Texas Senate welcome this new little Texan as a treasured citizen 
of the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby extend congratulations
to Adrian and Lena Collins and best wishes for the future to
Dean Matthew Collins; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
the family as a memento of this special day.
