SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 116
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Dr. Robert Jubela, who is retiring on June 4, 2004, after 37 years of outstanding service to Texas public schools, including 19 years with the Boerne Independent School District; and WHEREAS, Robert Jubela came to Boerne High School as a football coach in 1985 and has served as assistant principal since 1987; and WHEREAS, Over the years, Dr. Jubela has earned the respect of parents, students, alumni, faculty, and staff of Boerne High School; he has served the children of the community with diligence and with love; and WHEREAS, Throughout his career, Dr. Jubela has encouraged students to reach high educational goals; he has been an excellent role model and has had a positive influence on their lives; and WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, Dr. Jubela has handled his many administrative responsibilities with exceptional efficiency, and his wisdom and wise counsel will be greatly missed at Boerne High School; his many admirers and supporters are honoring him with a retirement party at the school on May 16, 2004; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 78th Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby commend Dr. Robert Jubela on his exemplary service and his many contributions to Texas public schools, especially his service with the Boerne Independent School District, and extend best wishes to him for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
