SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 126
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize the clergy and members of the New Day Deliverance
Holiness Church as they gather for a special ground-breaking
ceremony to celebrate building a new sanctuary; and
WHEREAS, Congregants will join Dr. Taylor and Mother Taylor
at 9001 Mesa Drive in Houston on Sunday, June 27, 2004, for the
joyful occasion; and
WHEREAS, New Day Deliverance Holiness Church ministers
faithfully to the spiritual needs of the community, and
undoubtedly it will continue to grow and to undertake many worthy
projects; and
WHEREAS, The church is a valuable source of strength to
its members, and a new sanctuary is a reflection of the enduring
commitment by the congregation and clergy to further its holy
mission; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby congratulate
Dr. Taylor and Mother Taylor and all congregants of the New Day
Deliverance Holiness Church on the occasion of this ground-breaking
ceremony and extend to them best wishes for the future; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared as a
memento of this special day.
