SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 165

	WHEREAS, May 3, 2004, will be a day long cherished and 
remembered by Leigh and Charles Christie, for on that day their 
daughter Lily Suzann Christie was born; and

	WHEREAS, The beautiful baby girl weighed seven pounds two 
ounces; and      

	WHEREAS, Lily's safe arrival fulfilled her parents' 
dearest wish, and they are joyful over the birth of their new 
daughter; and

	WHEREAS, This blessed event has brought great pride and 
happiness to Lily's family, including her grandparents, former 
Senator Joe Christie and Tana Christie; it is indeed appropriate 
that the Texas Senate welcome the arrival of this little girl, 
who is a treasured citizen of our state; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby extend 
congratulations to Leigh and Charles Christie and best wishes
for the future to Lily Suzann Christie; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
the family as a memento of this special day.
