Amend CSHB 1 as follows:                                                     
	1.  On page V-44, Department of Public Safety, under Method of 
Financing:  General Revenue Fund, reduce the appropriation from 
general revenue by $20,037,597 in each year of the biennium and 
under Other Funds, increase the appropriation from the State 
Highway Fund 006 by $20,037,597 in each year of the biennium.
	2.  On page II-58, Texas Department of Human Services, 
increase the appropriation for Strategy B.1.1. TANF  Grants by 
$20,037,597 in each year of the biennium to restore the annual $60 
back-to-school supplement.
