Amend CSHB 1 as follows:
1. On page III-194, reduce General Revenue funding for the
Food and Fibers Commission by $1,349,101 in 2004 and by $1,349,102
in 2005 ($2,698,203 for the biennium).
2. On page II-21, increase General Revenue funding for the
Department of Health in Strategy A.3.2, Immunizations, by
$1,349,101 in 2004 and by $1,349,102 in 2005.
3. On page III-195, add the following new rider to the Food
and Fibers Commission:
Memorandum of Understanding. It is the intent of the
Legislature that the Food and Fibers Commission shall enter into a
Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Agriculture such
that the Department of Agriculture assumes all powers, duties,
obligations, rights, contracts, records, and property relating to
the Food and Fibers Commission.
