Amend CSHB 1 as follows:                                                     
	Amend Article II, Department of Human Services by adding the 
following rider:
	_____.  Community Care Waiver Slots.  It is the intent of the 
Legislature that the Department of Human Services allow the number 
of community care waiver slots to be reduced to and maintained at 
appropriated levels through attrition.
