Amend CSHB 1 as follows:                                                     
	Amend Article II (page II-93), rider number 63 by inserting 
the following sentence immediately before the last sentence of the 
rider, which starts "The Department shall work closely. . . ."
	After the 1% cost-cutting measures are achieved, no 
additional monies may be taken from the State School system to fund 
the preservation of the 3-and 4-bed Medicaid Waiver model.
