Amend Amendment No. 194 by Hunter (page 226, amendment 
packet), by striking the text of the amendment and substituting the 
following:
	Amend CSHB 1 in the Article II appropriations to the 
Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, Rider 64.b 
(page II-93), by inserting, at the end of that paragraph:

"The commissioner may not proceed with a plan to close a state 
school until the commissioner receives the formal written approval 
of the house committee on appropriations and the senate finance 
committee."
