Amend CSHB 1 as follows:                                                     
	1.)  On page I-53, Historical Commission, Strategy A.1.5. 
(Courthouse Preservation), reduce the amount of the appropriation 
by $500,000 in Fiscal Year 2004 and $500,000 in Fiscal Year 2005.
	2.)  On page I-3, Commission on the Arts, B.1.1. Strategy 
(Distribute Direct Grants) increase general revenue appropriations 
by $1,000,000 for the biennium.
