Amend Amendment No. 304 to CSHB 1 by Kolkhorst (amendment 
package page 377) as follows:
	(1)  Strike lines 2 and 3 and substitute:                                      
	Following the Article III appropriations to Sam Houston State 
University (page III-126) add the following appropriately numbered 
rider:
	_____.  UNEXPENDED BALANCES CJ-CMIT AND LEMIT FOR THE 
BIENNIUM.  Any unexpended balances from appropriations for the 
state fiscal year beginning September 1, 2003, in the Criminal 
Justice Correctional
	(2)  Strike line 6 and substitute "appropriated for the same 
purpose for the state fiscal year beginning September 1, 2004.".
