Amend CSHB 1 as follows:                                                     
	1.)  On page VI-42, Soil and Water Conservation Board, A.1.2.  
Strategy (Brush Control Assistance), reduce the amount of the 
appropriation by $500,000 in Fiscal Year 2004 and $500,000 in 
Fiscal Year 2005.
	2.)  On page III-160, Public Community/Junior Colleges, 
K.1.1.  Strategy:  Academic Education (Coastal Bend College), 
increase general revenue appropriations by $500,000 for the 
biennium.
	3.)  On page III-160, Public Community/Junior Colleges, 
K.1.2.  Strategy:  Vocational/Technical Education (Coastal Bend 
College), increase general revenue appropriations by $500,000 for 
the biennium.
