Amend CSHB 1 as follows:                                                     
	In Article VI, under the appropriations to the Natural 
Resources Section, Parks and Wildlife Department, add the following 
appropriately numbered rider on page VI-34:
	_____.  GOLDEN ALGA.  Out of funds appropriated above in 
Strategy C.2.1., Manage Fish and Wildlife, the Parks and Wildlife 
Department shall use $600,000 in fiscal year 2004 and $600,000 in 
fiscal year 2005 for management, research, and restocking 
strategies to mitigate the adverse impact of golden alga, 
Prymnesium parvum, in Texas public lakes and rivers.
