Amend CSHB 1 as follows:                                                     
	(1) On page IX-74, Section 11.15, Contingency Appropriation 
Reduction, Subsection (a), strike everything between the words 
"Comptroller" on the second line and ending with the word "to 
certify" on the fourth line and substituting the words "shall 
notify the Legislative Budget Board and the Governor of the amounts 
of the reductions in general revenue and general revenue dedicated 
accounts that would be required".
	(2) On page IX-75, Section 11.15, Contingency Appropriation 
Reduction, strike Subsection (c) in its entirety and substitute the 
following:
	(c) The Legislative Budget Board and the Governor shall 
determine the amounts of reductions by agency and strategy and 
shall take formal action to implement the reductions.
