(1)  Amend CSHB 1 in Article IX of the bill by adding the 
following appropriately numbered subdivision to Section 11.29:
	__.  CONTINGENCY APPROPRIATION: DOMESTIC AND EXOTIC FOWL 
REGISTRATION. Contingent upon the enactment and becoming law of 
HB 2328, or similar legislation by the 78th Legislature, Regular 
Session, relating to the registration of sellers, distributors, and 
transporters of exotic and domestic fowl, the revenues collected by 
the Texas Animal Health Commission under that Act or similar 
legislation (estimated to be $172,525) are appropriated to the 
Texas Animal Health Commission for the fiscal biennium beginning 
September 1, 2003, for the purpose of implementing any of the 
purposes of that Act.
	(2)  Renumber the subsequent subdivisions accordingly.
