Amend Article I, CSHB 1, on page I-49, appropriations for the 
Office of the Governor, by adding a new rider to read as follows:
	"9.  Governor's Vehicle.  Funds appropriated to the Office of 
the Governor may be used for the purchase, lease, operation, 
maintenance, or storage of motor vehicles used to transport the 
Governor only if the motor vehicles are hybrid electric vehicles 
(HEVs), as that term is defined by the Office of Transportation 
Technologies, U.S. Department of Energy."
