Amend CSHB 1 in Article I of the bill by adding the following 
appropriately numbered rider following the appropriations to the 
Comptroller of Public Accounts:
	_____. Contingency Appropriation for HB 2458. Contingent 
upon the enactment of HB 2458 or similar legislation relating to the 
collection and or allocation of the Texas motor fuels tax, by the 
78th Legislature Regular Session, the Comptroller of Public 
Accounts, Strategy A.1.7. Lateral Road Fund District, is hereby 
increased to $10,950,000 for fiscal year 2004, and $14,600,000 for 
Fiscal year 2005.
