Amend Amendment No. 43 by Thompson to CSHB 4 (beginning on 
page 79, amendment packet) by striking lines 3-5 and substituting:
	(c)  The total fees charged may not be more than $250 per hour 
for any attorney representing the defendant.  If the defendant is 
represented by a law firm utilizing more than one attorney at the 
same time, the $250 limit applies to each hour of legal 
representation without regard to the number of attorneys utilized.  
The $250 limit does not apply to paralegal or clerical services.
