Amend CSHB 4 as follows:                                                     
	On page 2, between lines 11 and 12 insert a new Section 26.003 
to read as follows and renumber the remaining sections accordingly:
	Sec. 26.003  HEALTH CARE PROVIDER.  Notwithstanding any 
provision of Section 26.002 of this chapter, nothing in this 
chapter shall apply to an action where the claimant is a health care 
provider as defined in Article 4590i, Vernon's Texas Civil 
Statutes, seeking damages in their individual capacity or on behalf 
of a class of claimants against a responsible party for payment of 
health care services.
