Amend CSHB 7 (Committee Printing) on page 3, between lines 6 
and 7 by inserting the following:
	(c) In the event legislation described by Subsection (a) of 
this section becomes law, the amount of $116,000,000 is 
appropriated to the Texas Education Agency out of State Textbook 
Fund 003 for use during the two year period beginning September 1, 
2003, as follows:
		(1) $70,000,000 for the purpose of providing 
instructional materials for classes in bilingual education and 
English as a second language.
