Amend CSHB 7 as follows:                                                     
	On page 6, strike lines 22-23 and renumber remaining items 
appropriately.    
	Insert an appropriately numbered section to read as follows:                   
	SECTION _____. TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH AND MENTAL 
RETARDATION.  In order to prevent a reduction in funds appropriated 
to the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation 
from the General Revenue Fund (Fund 0001), there is hereby 
appropriated the amount of $32,338,079 to the General Revenue fund 
(Fund 0001) from the Economic Stabilization Fund (Fund 0599).
