Amend CSHB 7 as follows:                                                     
	On page 7, strike lines 13-14 and renumber remaining items 
appropriately.    
	Insert an appropriately numbered section to read as follows:                   
	SECTION _____.  TEXAS HIGHER EDUCATION COORDINATING BOARD.  
In order to prevent a reduction in funds appropriated to the Texas 
Higher Education Coordinating Board from the General Revenue Fund 
(Fund 0001) and to maximize opportunities in and access to higher 
education for all Texans, there is hereby appropriated the amount 
of $91,214,575 to the General Revenue fund (Fund 0001) from the 
Economic Stabilization Fund (Fund 0599).
