Amend CSHB 7 as follows:                                                     
	On page 16, strike lines 4-5 and renumber remaining items 
appropriately.     
	Insert an appropriately numbered section to read as follows:                   
	SECTION _____. TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. In order 
to prevent a reduction in funds appropriated to the Texas 
Department of Transportation from the General Revenue Fund (Fund 
0001), and to ensure continued transportation improvements 
throughout the state, there is hereby appropriated the amount of 
$1,767,926 to the General Revenue fund (Fund 0001) from the 
Economic Stabilization Fund (Fund 0599).
