Amend CSHB 7 as follows:                                                     
	On page 26, strike lines 17-22 and renumber the remaining 
items appropriately.
	Insert an appropriately numbered section to read as follows:                   
	SECTION _____. TEXAS EDUCATION AGENCY.  In order to prevent a 
reduction in funds appropriated to the Texas Education Agency from 
the Available School Fund 0002, State Textbook Fund 0003, and 
Foundation School Fund 0193, there is hereby appropriated 
$3,710,000 to the General Revenue Fund (Fund 0001) from the 
Economic Stabilization Fund (Fund 0599), $131,037,247 to the 
General Revenue Fund (Fund 0001) from the Economic Stabilization 
Fund (0599), and $187,734,652 to the General Revenue Fund (Fund 
0001) from the Economic Stabilization Fund (Fund 0599).
