Amend CSHB 9 in SECTION 3 of the bill by striking proposed 
Section 418.180, Government Code (committee printing page 5, line 
67 through page 6, line 3), and substituting the following:
	Sec. 418.180.  CONFIDENTIALITY OF CERTAIN INFORMATION 
PREPARED FOR THE UNITED STATES.  Information, other than financial 
information, in the possession of a governmental entity is 
confidential if the information:
	(a)  is part of a report to an agency of the United States;             
	(b)  relates to an act of terrorism or related criminal 
activity; and 
	(c)  is specifically required to be kept confidential:                  
(1)  under Section 552.101, Government Code, because 
of a federal statute or regulation;
(2)  to participate in a state-federal information 
sharing agreement; or
(3)  to obtain federal funding.
