System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	
Amend HB 443 as follows:                                                     
	(1) On page 1, line 13, between "published" and "in", insert 
"using a reasonable font".
	(2) On page 1, line 19, between "published" and "in", insert 
"using a reasonable font".
	(3) On page 1, at the end of line 24, insert "The district 
shall include the Internet websites of the school district and the 
electronic procurement marketplace in its posting.
	(4) Add the following appropriately numbered section and 
renumber any subsequent sections as appropriate:
	SECTION _____. Section 44.031, Education Code, is amended by 
adding Subsection (g-1) to read as follows:
	(g-1) Notwithstanding Subsection (g), if a school district 
determines that a sufficient number of bids, proposals, or 
responses have been received, the school district is not required 
to continue to post after the first week of posting.
