Amend HB 479 as follows:                                                     
	(1) On page 1, strike line 7 and substitute "by amending 
Subsection (b) and adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:".
	(2) Strike page 1, line 8 through page 2, line 21, and 
substitute the following:
	(b) In addition to the statement required by Subsection (a), 
the department may conspicuously post at each location where 
applications for driver's licenses and personal identification 
certificates are accepted one or more signs, in English and 
Spanish, providing the information contained in the statement.
	(3) On page 2, line 22, strike "(d)" and substitute "(c)".
