Amend CSHB 575 as follows:                                                   
	(1)  On page 1, line 18, between "Independence" and ";", 
insert "or the Texas Declaration of Independence".
	(2)  On page 1, line 22, strike "presidents of the United 
States" and substitute "the Texas Declaration of Independence, 
presidents or vice presidents of the United States, presidents or 
vice presidents of the Republic of Texas, or governors of Texas 
throughout its history".
