HB 872 is amended as follows:                                                
	(1) On page 3, line 17, strike "October" and substitute 
"September".         
	(2) On page 3, line 23, strike "October" and substitute 
"September".         
	(3) On page 3, line 24, after the period, add "This Act does 
not invalidate an election ordered by a political subdivision 
before the effective date of this Act to be held on a date 
authorized by the law in effect when the election was ordered."
