Amend HB 1065 as follows:                                                    
	(1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, proposed 
Section 36.051(d)(1), Water Code (Senate committee printing, page 
1, line 15), strike "an officer or employee of a political 
subdivision" and substitute "a member of the governing body or 
officer of another political subdivision other than a municipality 
or county".
	(2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, proposed 
Section 36.051(d)(2), Water Code (Senate committee printing, page 
1, line 18), strike "director, officer, or employee of a political 
subdivision" and substitute "member of the governing body or 
officer of another political subdivision other than a municipality 
or county".
