Amend CSHB 1407 (House Committee Report) as follows:                         

(1)  On page 2, lines 5 and 6, strike ", justice precinct,".

	(3)  On page 7, lines 15 and 16, strike ", justice

	(4)  On page 7, strike lines 22 and 23.                                        
	(5)  On page 9, line 9, strike  "or justice precinct".                  
	(6)  Strike page 11, line 26, through page 12, line 8, and 
substitute "are of no consequence, and the status of an area as 
determined by a municipal election prevails over a contrary status 
as determined by a county election.".
