Amend CSHB 1487 as follows:                                                  
	(1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in proposed Section 
1305.003(a), Occupations Code, between Subdivisions (14) and (15) 
of that subsection (committee printing, page 2, between lines 65 
and 66), insert the following:
		(15)  the installation, maintenance, alteration, or 
repair of elevators, escalators, or related equipment, excluding 
any required power source, regulated under Chapter 754, Health and 
Safety Code;
	(2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in proposed Section 
1305.003(a), Occupations Code, in Subdivision (15) of that 
subsection (committee printing, page 2, line 66), strike "(15)" and 
substitute "(16)".
	(3)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in proposed Section 
1305.003(a), Occupations Code, in Subdivision (16) of that 
subsection (committee printing, page 3, line 1), strike "(16)" and 
substitute "(17)".
