Amend CSHB 1567 on page 26, between lines 6 and 7 by inserting 
the following:
	Sec. 401.2375. APPROVAL OF COUNTIES REQUIRED.  The department 
may not issue a draft license under Section 401.238 unless the 
voters in the county in which the compact waste disposal facility is 
proposed to be located and the voters in each county adjoining the 
county in which the facility is proposed to be located by referendum 
approve the establishment of the facility in the proposed county.
