Amend HB 2073 as follows:                                                    

(1)  On page 3, strike lines 6 and 7 and substitute the 	following:           
	(i)  An election under this subchapter shall be held on the 
first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.
	(2)  On page 3, between lines 7 and 8 insert:                                  
	Sec. 285.202.  EXPIRATION.  This subchapter expires 
September 1, 2008.
