Amend CSHB 2292 as follows:                                                  
	On page 122, strike line 25 through line 5, page 123, and 
insert:            
	(c) [This section does not prohibit the department] The Texas 
Workforce Commission, the Health and Human Services Commission, or 
any other health and human services agency, as defined by Section 
531.001, Government Code, [from providing] may not deny medical 
assistance, child care, or any other social or support services 
[for an individual subject to sanctions or penalties under this 
chapter] unless the recipient of financial assistance has failed to 
comply with the requirements of subsection 31.0031, Human Resources 
Code.
