Amend CSHB 2292 as follows:                                                  
	(1)  Add the following appropriately numbered SECTION to 
Article 2 of the bill and renumber subsequent SECTIONS of the bill 
accordingly:
	SECTION _____.  Section 32.0315, Human Resources Code, is 
amended to read as follows:
	(a)  Subject to appropriated state funds, the [The] 
department shall establish procedures and formulas for the 
allocation of federal medical assistance funds that are directed to 
be used to support graduate medical education in connection with 
the medical assistance program.
	(2)  On page 172, line 4, strike "(1)".                                        
	(3)  On page 172, line 5, strike "; and" and substitute a 
period.
