Amend CSHB 2292 by adding the following appropriately 
numbered Section of the bill and renumbering the remaining Sections 
of the bill as appropriate:
	SECTION _____.  Subchapter B, Chapter 531, Government Code, 
is amended by adding Section 531.076 to read as follows:
	Sec. 531.076.  MEDICAID PROGRAM.  (a)  The commissioner shall 
ensure that the state medicaid program implements 42 U.S.C. 
1396p(b)(1).
	(b)  The medicaid account is an account in the general revenue 
fund.  Any funds recovered by implementing 42 U.S.C. 1396p(b)(1) 
shall be deposited in the medicaid account.  Money in the account 
may be appropriated only to fund long-term care, including 
community-based care and facility-based care.
