Amend CSHB 2292 as follows:                                                  
	(1)  On page 59, line 3, between "PLAN." and "The transfer", 
insert "(a)".   
	(2)  On page 59, between lines 16 and 17, insert the 
following:              
	(b)  In developing the transition plan, the commissioner of 
health and human services shall hold public hearings in various 
geographic areas in this state before submitting the plan to the 
governor and the Legislative Budget Board as required by this 
section.
