Amend HB 2529 (Senate committee printing) as follows:                        
	(1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 7.0026, Water 
Code (page 1, lines 19-27), beginning with "the commission may 
not", strike the remainder of the added language and substitute 
"the commission may enter into a compliance agreement with the 
regional service under which the commission will not initiate an 
enforcement action against the regional service for existing or 
anticipated violations resulting from the operation by the regional 
service of the service being integrated.  A compliance agreement 
under this section must include provisions necessary to bring the 
service being integrated into compliance."
	(2)  In SECTION 2 of the bill (page 1, line 28), strike "(a)".                 
	(3)  In SECTION 2 of the bill (page 1, lines 33-42), strike 
Subsection (b).
